We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Support professional with a strong background in sales pitches and proposals to lead the development of high-impact sales materials for our most significant commercial opportunities. This role sits at the heart of our Rights Sales function, working across all sports verticals to support and elevate priority sales initiatives. We need someone that can build strong relationships and effectively manage a variety of stakeholders – both internally and externally. You will be a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, owning the creation and delivery of best-in-class sales materials while driving efficiency, consistency, and quality across the full sales lifecycle.
This is a hands-on role, where you will take briefs from senior stakeholders and translate them into compelling sales materials, including presentations and supporting assets. You will regularly engage and collaborate with multiple teams across the business, including, but not limited to, Client Services, Strategy & Consulting, Research & Insights and Creative/Design, with the successful candidate leading and coordinating all inputs to deliver outstanding proposals.
Key Responsibilities- Ownership of Sales Materials: Work with teams across the business to develop templates and outreach materials for retained rightsholders and other ad hoc opportunities. This may include (but not be limited to) infographics, outreach decks, sizzle videos, mock-ups etc. Develop bespoke proposals, incorporating inspiring sales narratives, compelling brand positioning and creative activation ideas. Act as the owner of materials relating to priority sales opportunities. Ensure best practice is being communicated and implemented across all sports verticals in the UK and globally.
- End-to-End Pipeline and Opportunity Management: Work with sales and Client Services leads to identify and prioritise sales opportunities. Quickly understand, distil and communicate requirements in a clear & concise manner. Mobilise and brief internal teams. Work closely with the Strategy & Consulting and Creative Strategy & Planning teams to ensure proposals align to the prospect’s brand & business objectives, tell the right story and incorporate the rights/assets needed to deliver a successful partnership. Collaborate with brand partnership teams in relation to ideation and activation. Oversee all Creative/Design requests and outputs, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to the highest possible standard. Bring sales leads ‘on the journey’ and make sure all relevant information and feedback is considered throughout the process. Work with internal Operations teams to ensure systems are updated and critical processes are being adhered to.
- Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management: Build positive working relationships with senior sales leads with a view to becoming a capable and trusted delivery partner. Provide leadership, guidance and support to junior colleagues in Rights Sales, Strategy & Consulting, Research & Insights and other teams. Manage inputs from a variety of sources concurrently and ensure clarity on expectations and timelines. Influence stakeholders to secure timely, high-quality contributions.
- Quality Control & Continuous Improvement: Ensure all outputs meet a consistently high standard in terms of their structure, formatting, storytelling and visual presentation. Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and proactively address them. Make recommendations regarding improved ways of working, including the identification and implementation of platforms and tools that can deliver the same or better-quality outputs more efficiently.
- Core Capabilities: Proven experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders. Exceptional prioritisation skills in a complex, fast-paced environment. Advanced PowerPoint/Google Slides skills, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to produce client-ready outputs.
- Project Management: Demonstrated project management capability, including planning around deadlines and key milestones; coordinating resource across multiple teams; and the ability to distil large volumes of information into a simple and logical ‘job to be done’.
- Relationship & Delivery Skills: Strong relationship builder who knows how to get the best out of cross-functional teams. Calm, confident and solutions-oriented under pressure. Detail-orientated without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Senior sales leads feel supported, organised and confident going into key meetings.
- Sales materials are consistently high quality, delivered on time and clearly prioritised.
- The sales process runs more smoothly, with fewer last-minute issues and re-works.
