A key role within our Motorsport team is taking on responsibility for developing and implementing events, hospitality programmes and brand experiences, at and away from track, with support from account team members.
Account Overview:As a result of growth to a key client's global partnership portfolio, Wasserman is looking for a motivated Associate Manager to join the Brands team. The position provides hands-on support to account teams across the planning and execution of motorsport hospitality events and race activations, with a focus on guest experience, client objectives, budget management and performance measurement.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:- Support the planning and delivery of motorsport hospitality events and race weekend activations
- Assist in managing day-to-day relationships with clients, rightsholders and suppliers
- Deliver best-in-class guest experiences aligned to client objectives and brand narratives
- Support event logistics including guest management, accreditation, schedules and on-site operations
- Maintain event documentation, trackers, timelines and planning materials
- Support the research and sourcing of event suppliers, hospitality collateral and gifting items
- Assist with global event logistics by coordinating shipments of event equipment with the preferred warehouse and logistics supplier across multiple race locations
- Contribute to creative brainstorming for race activation concepts and hospitality enhancements
- Assist with financial administration including budgets, POs, supplier invoicing and cost tracking
- Prepare clear internal and client-facing presentations, reports and post-event evaluations
- Proactively identify relevant motorsport and partner news to support client storytelling
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and colleagues daily
- Support junior team members where required, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Effective management of regular project and status meetings with clients (and external agencies where relevant)
- Ability to support business development initiatives and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges while managing client work first and foremost
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree (nice to have)
- Minimum of one year's relevant work experience (within a sports agency or live events environment)
- Motorsport (F1) experience is preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint and Excel
- The ability to multi-task and self-manage to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Strong operations and logistical management skills
- Must be flexible and comfortable to assume multiple roles as needed by the team
- Efficient communicator, with internal as well as client stakeholders, who is able to drive decisions
- Strong attention to detail and highly organised
- Ability to think creatively in a team environment
- Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances
- Ability to stay poised and professional when working with well-known talent
- Ability to travel for partner programs or activations as required
