We are looking for an experienced Partnerships Director to manage teams responsible for delivering multiple, complex workstreams in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, deep brand partnership expertise, and experience working within major football tournaments and global rights frameworks. Looking after a key Wasserman client, this role is pivotal in the delivery of high profile partnership campaigns for the FIFA World Cup 2026. You will be responsible for overseeing client and team management across global partnerships. This role will entail management of the global account team and working closely with the senior leadership team to identify exponential growth opportunities.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Work closely with the Senior Director to lead the account team to deliver first class client service and delivery
- Responsible for all elements of programme execution, budget planning and tracking, and client success
- Campaign Management - Oversee and ensure successful delivery of client campaigns – campaign planning, resourcing, multi-stakeholder management, rights delivery, reporting.
- Client Management: - Lead client communications across ongoing workstreams
- Develop and continue to foster a strong relationship with the brand team
- Develop strong relationships and work closely with key rights holders as required
- Account Team Management: - Provide strategic guidance and insight to the team to ensure that brand and business objectives are met
- Ensure that the day-to-day management of the account continues to function seamlessly from a top-down/bottom-up perspective.
- Oversee resourcing and team workloads across campaign and rights delivery.
- Develop strong relationships with all account leads and be the main day to day contact
- Ambassador/talent management: Oversee the client's global ambassador agreements - working closely with dedicated talent resource
- Work across the detail of contracts and work with the talent and legal teams across contractual nuances (markets, talent/agents ways of working, commercial conflicts etc.)
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Proven experience managing teams delivering multiple workstreams in a complex environment, with a track record of success across Account Management, Brand Planning and Brand Activation
- Strong background in brand partnerships and rights delivery planning
- Experience advising clients on partnership activation strategies
- Football tournament experience is highly desirable, ideally working with challenging global rights holders such as FIFA, UEFA, or similar organisations
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
