Washington Frank are working with a well established organisation with operations across multiple sites, currently looking to bolster their technology leadership, bringing in an ERP IT Director to guide the business through the next phase of its systems strategy. This hire will be a key voice in shaping how technology supports the organisation going forward. The role carries real weight at senior leadership level, with the successful candidate reporting directly into the C-suite and taking responsibility for the ERP platform, broader IT operations and the team delivering them, alongside standard IT Director duties spanning infrastructure, security and digital strategy.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
- Own the ERP strategy and roadmap, aligning system capability with wider business objectives
- Lead the IT function including budget ownership, resourcing and vendor management
- Drive ERP led transformation projects including upgrades, migrations and new module rollouts
- Act as the primary point of contact for ERP related decisions at board and senior leadership level
- Build and develop a high performing IT team across support, projects and infrastructure
- Oversee standard IT Director responsibilities including infrastructure, cyber security, data governance and business continuity
Key Experience & Skills:
- Proven track record leading ERP strategy and delivery at IT Director or Head of IT level
- Extensive experience implementing and supporting ERP systems, with platform itself less important than breadth of hands-on experience
- Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships and third party suppliers
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at board level
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing IT teams through periods of change
