As we embark on our next phase of growth and innovation, we’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Process Technologist to join our Technical team based in Park Royal . The Role: Provide professional support in the product development process within the Central Production Unit by conducting product trials and evaluations. Ensure all products and processes align with Wasabi\’s standards and meet customer requirements, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, innovative offerings. Key Responsibilities: Arrange and lead post-launch review meetings with cross-functional departments to identify and implement product and process improvements. Plan and conduct factory trials, ensuring all products and processes comply with Wasabi\’s standards and meet customer requirements. Accurately document all data from factory trials, including trial reports, shelf-life validations, and organoleptic assessments, to establish process capabilities and support due diligence. Organise and coordinate sample submissions for laboratory analysis (e.g. microbiological, chemical, and transit trials) in line with project timelines. Perform ongoing process validations on relevant factory equipment to meet site due diligence requirements, such as cooking and chilling validations for new machinery. Collaborate closely with the NPD, Standards, and Operations teams to define appropriate quality attributes for work-in-progress materials, assemblies, and finished products-developing tools such as Quality Attribute Sheets (QAS) and line standards. Support the Specification Technologist in artwork checks, including the verification of allergens, ingredient declarations, and nutritional information across various brands. Support the company’s ESG objectives by identifying and implementing technical improvements that reduce environmental impact. Our requirements: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to liaise across various teams and levels of the organization. Prior experience in the same role is preferred but not essential. It is essential that candidates have worked in a food manufacturing environment within the technical department (i.e QA team). Strong management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate tasks and projects across departments. A logical and methodical approach to work, with proven problem-solving and decision- making abilities.
