As we prepare for our next phase of growth and innovation, we have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Sales Forecasting Manager to join our team based in Park Royal. Please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract role.
Role
We are seeking a high‑performing individual with excellent analytical and financial modelling skills to build tools and reports to run our restaurants. This role is pivotal to optimising sales, food and labour costs in our restaurant estate. A good understanding of restaurant operations is critical as is excellent analytical thinking. The incumbent will need to be comfortable working on their own initiative and be skilled working cross‑functionally and managing tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Tools to Improve Forecasting Accuracy
- Understand the requirements of operators for excellent sales forecasting accuracy
- Analyse data to calculate targets for forecasting accuracy
- Build a sales forecasting tool
- Build a tool to track local events
- Share reports & insight to drive accurate sales forecasts
- Set up processes for ongoing performance management
- Build a Food Ordering and Production Tool
- Build a tool to produce food ingredients orders
- Build a production plan tool for finished goods
- Set the requirements for availability to maximise sales
- Set up processes for ongoing performance management
- Understand the requirements of Operations for COL and Non‑financial performance management
- Work with stakeholders to build tools and reports
- Support managing performance ongoing ready to hand over to another team
Our Requirements
- Strong analytical thinking and modelling skills
- Forecasting experience
- Advanced level Excel skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Confidence in communicating constructively across all levels of the organisation
- Comfort operating in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities
- Knowledge of PowerBI preferable
- Restaurant operational experience would be advantageous
- Experience of Forecasting, Planning & Analysis and ERP tools preferable
- A degree in Accounting, STEM or IT preferable
- Accountancy or Planning experience preferable
