We have an ambitious 5-year growth strategy, focusing on new restaurants, franchise partnerships, and international expansion. As we prepare for our next phase of growth and innovation, we have an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst - Restaurants to join our Finance team based in Park Royal.

The Role: The Commercial Analyst – Restaurants will work closely with the Restaurant Marketing team, providing analysis and insight to support commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Restaurant Marketing Director and Head of Food, supporting menu management initiatives, development and marketing activities to drive revenue and margin improvement.
  • Deliver internal and external pricing analyses to support future price increase decisions.
  • Periodically analyse and review range and space, identifying opportunities to maximise profit, working with the Marketing Director – Restaurants on idea generation through to execution and post review analysis.
  • Analysis of AT By product, including basket composition, identifying margin dilution as well as further opportunities for bundling and price.
  • Assessment of all marketing activity in restaurants for both physical estate and delivery, to support further investment decisions and channel performance.

Our Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role would be a finance, maths or economics graduate with excellent commercial acumen. They will have some experience supporting commercial decisions, ideally in a QSR, casual dining or retail business. Additionally, candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • A postgraduate qualification, ideally in an accountancy related subject would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Advanced excel skills; able to produce financial models and work accurately with large datasets.
  • Pricing and cost analysis experience an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the ability to translate analysis into business conclusions and recommendations.
  • Confident presenting to all levels within the business.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organised with a flexible approach, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
