Are you passionate about leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver personalised, strengths-based support for adults in Warwickshire? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Manager to lead our Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.
About the Role
- Manage and supervise a multidisciplinary team, overseeing day-to-day operations, caseload allocation, and performance.
- Be accountable for implementing strategies to address performance issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead on complex casework, including adult safeguarding responsibilities.
- Authorise assessments, support plans, risk assessments, and mental capacity assessments.
- Approve budget requests for care packages in line with delegated authority.
- Oversee OT pathways, promoting reablement, equipment, and assistive technology to ensure cost-effective, preventative support.
- Respond to complaints and quality issues, maintaining strong links with local agencies and partners.
- Monitor and audit service quality, ensuring best practice and ongoing service development.
About You
- A professional qualification (or equivalent) and current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the HCPC, with substantial post-qualification experience.
- Experience supervising and managing a team, including conducting formal appraisals.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information and develop effective solutions.
- Experience in complex case management, including safeguarding and multi-agency working.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
- Experience managing budgets and monitoring financial accounts.
- A commitment to continuous service improvement and best practice.
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
- You must be able to work flexibly across Warwickshire and be available to deputise for the Operations Manager as required.
