Overview

We are recruiting for the role of Social Worker in our Duty & Assessment Pod and a Social Worker within our Support & Intervention Pod within Stratford Family Help Team.

Responsibilities

Additional information

  • Applicants for the role will need a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England Registration
  • The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers; the Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public
  • Stratford District Family Help Team is based in Stratford Upon Avon. The service works with children from 0-18 covering a range of work from Child In Need through to Child Protection, PLO, court work, children in care and adoption
  • Warwickshire County Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults. Successful applicants may be subject to pre-engagement checks including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Warwickshire County Council adheres to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974

Salary and progression

  • Experienced Social Worker (K, L, N). Up to Β£51,726.00 per annum (Includes a Β£3,500 pro-rated market supplement; Ts&Cs apply). Relocation Allowance up to Β£8,000 may be available if policy criteria are met
  • Year 1 Newly Qualified Social Worker – Grade J
  • Year 2 Social Worker – Grade K
  • Year 3 Senior Social Worker – Grade L
  • Year 4 Advanced Social Worker – Grade N
