Parent Coach (Senior Family Support Worker)

We are pleased to offer a permanent, part‑time Parent Coach (Senior Family Support Worker) position within our service. This countywide role will deliver a broad range of parenting interventions in addition to professional training. The Family and Relationship Offer in Warwickshire is delivered by a focused Family and Relationship Support Team who lead on the coordination, development and delivery of programmes across the county facilitating with colleagues from across the Children and Families service and wider network. The Family and Relationship Support Team deliver across the county in venues and through a virtual offer in response to the needs of families which will regularly include delivery during the day, evenings and weekends. This role will also act as a locality link for one of our District/Boroughs, liaising with partners in the area, analysing locality data and developing the offer in response to this. Best Start in Life has a significant focus on evidence‑based interventions and the home learning environment with the aim of increasing the number of children achieving a good level of development. We would welcome applications from candidates with a sound understand of the Early Years to support our aspirational targets and to support children and families to reach their full potential. The post holder will be confident in the delivery of information and parenting interventions to a broad audience including parents and carers, colleagues in Children and Families, colleagues in the voluntary and community sector, colleagues in education and learning including schools and early years.
