Overview

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a Contract and Project Monitoring Officer to support the delivery of the Connect to Work programme across Warwickshire.

In this role you will work closely with Programme Managers and partners to monitor projects and contracts, ensure compliance with funding and statutory requirements, and track performance, expenditure, and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on verifying grant claims.
  • Support audits.
  • Manage monitoring systems.
  • Maintain strong relationships with delivery partners and funders.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in project or contract monitoring.
  • Strong financial and data analysis skills.
  • Good understanding of grant funding, procurement, and performance reporting.
  • Experience within employability, skills, or economic development programmes (desirable).
  • Fluency Duty

Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
