We are looking to recruit a number of zero hours members of staff to cover vacancies and leave within an existing team. The role will be working out of our Leamington HQ location. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who will assist in the delivery of Hospital to Home and Prevention activities; working collaboratively to drive change internally and further strengthen our Health partnerships as part of the PPR Strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team contributing to and supporting all aspects of getting people home from hospital, in a safe manner, whilst settling them in their home to promote a healthy recovery after being in hospital. This supports the NHS, Public Health and our Fire Service strategies in making communities safer within Warwickshire.

As part of the role you must be committed to Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults whilst carrying out your work. You will also be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check. We would also expect you to uphold the principles of the Core Code of Ethics.

Key Requirements
  • Able to convey information both verbal and written in a logical and concise manner
  • Ability to use a range of IT software to file and manage information and to create and amend documents
  • Able to understand and interpret national guidance and legislation relating to WFRS policies
  • Able to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines, prioritising to satisfy competing demands and urgent and important issues
  • Full Driving licence

You are also required to upload an expression of interest which should be no more than 500 words and reference the Job Description and Person Specification, to explain why you believe you are suitable to work within the team. You should also explain what skills and attributes you have to make you successful in this role. Following receipt of your expression of interest, these will be sifted and successful candidates will be invited for an interview to select the most suitable individual to undertake the vacancy.
