Responsibilities

As a Contract Management Officer, you will play a key role in managing the Council's contracts and developing effective supplier relationships. You will support commissioners and managers in their contract management duties and ensure the corporate Contract Management Framework is applied across all contracts. You will assist in delivering the new Procurement and Contract Management Strategy, building relationships with Procurement, Warwickshire Legal Services, and supplier representatives. You will rapidly understand contract performance and supply markets, using this knowledge to promote best value through efficiency, innovation, and control. You will shape performance management mechanisms within service specifications and monitor and validate provider performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in contract management, compliance, data analysis, category management, supply chain management, and procurement.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a self‑starter attitude.
