Warwickshire County Council is delighted to offer an opportunity to join our Reablement Service as an Apprentice Business Administrator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organisation, administration, and supporting frontline services, while working towards a recognised qualification. The position is based at either of our main working locations: Kings House in Bedworth or Heathcote House in Leamington Spa. This role combines full‑time employment (37 hours per week) with training towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship. On successful completion, there is the opportunity to progress into a permanent Business Support Officer role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Reablement team, including data entry, record‑keeping, and document management.
  • Support scheduling, coordination, and communication across the service.
  • Use IT systems accurately to maintain records and reports.
  • Assist with customer enquiries and correspondence in a professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Be an organised, motivated, and reliable individual.
  • Have an interest in administration, business support, and public services.
  • Have good IT, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Show willingness to learn and complete the Level 3 Business Administrator qualification.
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Meet the Fluency Duty – be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.

Training and Development

  • A fully funded Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship delivered by Heart of England Training.
  • Full‑time paid employment (37 hours per week).
  • Ongoing training, mentoring, and development support.
  • Opportunity for progression to a permanent Business Support Officer role upon successful completion.
