This role sits within the Operational Finance Service and reports to the Finance Manager for the Social Care & Health Directorate. You will manage two accountants and two finance officers, supporting and developing a committed team.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will support and develop the Social Care & Health Directorate by providing high-quality financial support and advice to shape the commissioning and delivery of Adult Social Care across Warwickshire.

Qualifications:

  • A professional accountancy qualification with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Experience of leading social care finance in a public sector setting.
  • Strong team leadership skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.

Employment details:

  • This is a permanent, full-time post (37 hours per week) at Scale O (£52,726-£54,769 at 2025/26 rates, 2026/27 pay award pending), including a £4,500 per annum market supplement until at least 30 June 2027.
