Warwickshire Counselling Centre is a local charity offering counselling for adults\' children and young people from Nuneaton, Bedworth and North Warwickshire.

Job description

Warwickshire Counselling Centre is looking for counsellors to join our bank of sessional children and young people\'s counsellors working on a variety of contracts in school/agency settings. We offer counselling/therapeutic play/creative therapy/movement psychotherapy/art therapy/drama therapy for children and young people from the age of 4 and work with a wide variety of issues. This post is for sessional work usually of 10 sessions duration.

The post holder is responsible for ensuring that they deliver a high quality and effective therapeutic face to face service for children and young people in Bedworth, Nuneaton and North Warwickshire. It is essential that all applicants are qualified at diploma level or above with a qualification/training/experience of working therapeutically with children and young people. As most of our work will involve travelling between schools during the school day you must be able to drive and have access to a car. You will be required to contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of the service for funders and other stakeholders in line with the agency requirements. Working hours can be flexible and variable within school times.

The post will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS and references. Applicants must be able to drive and have access to a car.

Salary:

£30.50 per session for working in North Warwickshire

£22.87 per session for working in Nuneaton and Bedworth with additional allowance for phone assessment, review and a short report

Mileage Allowance

We pay mileage from our centre to the first school and onwards travel returning to our centre at 45p per mile.

Pay: £114.38-£152.50 per day
