An opportunity has arisen for a part-time medical receptionist to join our friendly team at our busy medical practice. Working 27.5 hours per week on a rota basis. Warwick Square Group Practice forms part of North Cumbria Primary Care Alliance, a not-for-profit initiative designed to safeguard the future of GP services across North Cumbria.
Main duties of the job:
- Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
- Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Person Specification:
- Experience: Experience of working as a receptionist, experience of working in primary care, experience in using EMIS Web.
- Qualifications: GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths or equivalent.
