King\’s High School is seeking to appoint enthusiastic sports coaches in a wide range of specialisms on a casual basis.
We have a strong sporting ethos in school and compete regularly at national level in hockey, netball and tennis. We are keen to widen our sporting and fitness opportunities to ensure all students regularly participate in sport outside their curriculum lessons. We will consider applicants with specialisms in any sport, but are particularly interested with anyone with experience of coaching the following:
•Girls\’ rugby
•Disc golf
•Fitness coaching
The successful candidate will be asked to deliver training sessions throughout the year, at lunchtime, after school and ideally on Saturday mornings. There may become opportunity to assist in lessons if suitable. The ability to attend fixtures during the week and weekends is of benefit but not essential.
This is an opportunity for a self motivated individual with a passion and expertise in sport to work with ambitious and talents pupils. We expect there to be an appropriate balance between the teaching and improvement of technique and enjoyment for the activity.
The role is offered on the coaching rate point 33 equivalent to £23.51 per hour (£20.10 plus £3.42 holiday pay)to point 40 equivalent to £28.07 per hour (£23.99 plus £4.08 holiday pay).
