We are seeking to appoint Cleaning Operatives to support a busy and thriving cleaning department over the weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Sanitise toilets and washrooms, replenish supplies, empty bins and disinfect high‑touch surfaces such as door handles and desks.
- Report maintenance issues, adhere to cleaning schedules, store materials safely and act in accordance with the school's safeguarding policies.
Hours and Schedule:
16 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays from 07:00 to 16:00 (including a 1‑hour unpaid break). Some flexibility will be required to cover events.
Requirements:
The post‑holder must be able to understand and act on all safety‑critical and safeguarding information, whether through English or supported communication methods. Candidates who work Monday to Friday are not considered, in compliance with the Working Time Directive.
