Warwick School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working Graduate Music Assistant from September 2025 to August 2026. The primary duties of the Graduate Music Assistant are to support the large Music team in developing and delivering music opportunities at Warwick School and Warwick Junior School.
The position offers the opportunity to experience life in a large and vibrant music department that serves both Warwick School and Warwick Junior School. The Graduate Music Assistant will work within a highly committed team of staff and with intelligent, enthusiastic boys aged 8 to 18. The post will be useful in developing the candidate's skills in a wide range of disciplines and to experience many varying aspects of the music profession, including administration, teaching, and performance. Opportunities to explore any area of personal musical interest would be actively encouraged.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a musical, motivated and proactive individual, as the school seeks to build on the success of winning Independent Boys School of the Year for 2022 and deliver on our vision of being the most inspiring, rounded, and caring boys school in the UK. The Graduate Music Assistant will report directly to the Director of Music.
Working hours: 37 hours per week for 35.4 weeks per year
Salary: The salary scale for this role is Foundation payscale point 11 (FTE: £23,492 per annum), equivalent to the actual salary of £18,730 (prorated) per annum.
