We are working with a growing and well-established facilities services company who are looking to appoint an experienced Quotation Manager to join their team in Birmingham. This is a key role within the business, responsible for managing the end-to-end quotation process and ensuring accurate, competitive and timely pricing across plumbing, heating and electrical works. You will be office based and will oversee a small team, ensure high standards of service delivery and support business growth through effective quotation management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the full quotation process from initial enquiry through to submission
- Preparing accurate and competitive quotes across plumbing, heating and electrical works
- Reviewing specifications, drawings and job requirements to ensure correct pricing
- Leading, managing and supporting a team of two
- Liaising with engineers, suppliers and internal departments to gather required information
- Monitoring turnaround times and ensuring deadlines are consistently met
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency
- Supporting senior management with reporting and pricing insights
About You:
- Proven experience in a Quotation Manager or Senior Estimator role
- Strong background in plumbing, heating and electrical services is essential
- Previous experience managing or supervising a team
- Excellent attention to detail and strong commercial awareness
- Confident communicator with the ability to liaise across multiple teams
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple quotations at once
- Comfortable working in a fast paced office environment
