An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Private Property Lawyers / Conveyancers to join a well-established and highly regarded legal practice with multiple offices across the West Midlands and Shropshire.

We are seeking ambitious and motivated individuals with a minimum of 3 years' PQE, or equivalent experience gained within a reputable law firm, to join a busy and successful Residential Property team. This role offers genuine opportunities for career progression, professional development, and the chance to work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages
  • New build transactions
  • Transfers of equity

You will work closely with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other professionals, ensuring transactions are progressed efficiently while delivering a high standard of client service. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives and help build long-term client relationships.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' PQE or equivalent conveyancing experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing processes
  • The ability to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and file management skills
  • A clear understanding of the Solicitors Code of Conduct relating to referrals
  • Knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and compliance requirements

Desirable:

  • Experience dealing with landlord and tenant matters
  • Experience handling leasehold extensions
