Our Client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of projects within the events and exhibitions sector. This role involves managing projects from initial handover through to completion, ensuring seamless delivery and excellent client satisfaction. Projects may include exhibition roadshows, indoor and outdoor exhibition builds, and large-scale seasonal installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects end-to-end, from client handover to final delivery
- Coordinate with internal operational teams to ensure resources, equipment, and logistics are in place
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles
- Attend project sites as required to support delivery and client handovers
- Control project budgets and ensure cost efficiency
- Manage subcontractors and temporary labour on-site
- Develop project plans aligned with client needs, timelines, and budgets
- Prepare accurate costings and project documentation (training provided where required)
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all projects
- Work collaboratively with suppliers and external partners where needed
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in project management within the events or exhibitions industry
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Marketing or social media experience is advantageous
- Experience working on-site is desirable
- Full UK driving licence required
Working Environment
- Combination of office, home, and on-site work
- Regular travel across the UK and occasional international travel
- Occasional overnight stays required
- Weekend and bank holiday work may be required (time off in lieu provided)
