Unitemps is a university-owned recruitment service connecting students and institutions across the UK. The Unitemps Franchise Account Manager plays a key role in supporting and strengthening our established network of 20 university-based franchise offices. In this role, you will build strong, trusted relationships with franchise partners, support consistent and high-quality delivery, and help branches to grow their on-campus recruitment activity. The focus is not on sales or new business, but on working collaboratively with existing partners to increase engagement, compliance, and impact within their institutions. You will work closely with franchise teams and internal colleagues to share best practice, support continuous improvement, and help Unitemps provide meaningful employment opportunities for students and staff across the network.
Franchise Account Management
- Provide advice, guidance, and practical support to help partners deliver effective and compliant recruitment services.
- Encourage collaboration and shared learning across the network through regular communication and engagement.
- Support franchise offices to strengthen their presence, visibility, and impact within their institutions.
- Work with partners to improve engagement with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Careers, academic departments, and professional services teams.
- Share ideas, tools, and approaches that increase awareness and take-up of Unitemps services on campus.
- Carry out regular on-site visits to provide hands-on support and maintain strong working relationships.
- Take part in regular review meetings with franchise partners to reflect on performance and identify opportunities for development.
Internal Recruitment
- Lead a network-wide project, with support from the Unitemps Franchise Director, to support franchise offices in developing and enhancing internal recruitment processes.
- Promote greater consistency and alignment of internal recruitment practices across the network where appropriate.
- Share best practice in attracting, recruiting, onboarding, and supporting student and campus workers.
- Monitor trends, feedback, and performance data relating to internal recruitment activity and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Projects and Training
- Contribute, if necessary, to wider franchise team projects, including new franchise launches, payroll bureau implementations, website development and maintenance, and the Unitemps Annual Conference.
- Support the training of new franchise offices and new staff within existing franchises, delivered on site, at Warwick, and online, ultimately becoming the training lead on the recruitment software.
You enjoy working with people and building strong relationships, and you are motivated by helping others succeed. You are well organised, proactive, and able to balance relationship-building with delivery. A proven track record of working heavily within Temporary Recruitment businesses.
