We are seeking two experienced and motivated Lifeline Team Leaders to join our Independent Living service. This frontline leadership role ensures effective day‑to‑day management of a high‑valued service supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community. The role requires visible, proactive, and responsive leadership to maintain service continuity across extended hours, leading teams that provide response, support, and reassurance to residents across the district.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused lifeline service operating 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • Lead and manage teams providing response, support and reassurance to residents.
  • Operate across extended hours and respond to real‑time needs.
  • Support staff dealing with complex, sensitive and sometimes emergency situations.
  • Provide oversight and leadership in collaboration with emergency services and partners.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in frontline leadership within a comparable environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for delivering high‑quality services to vulnerable peoples.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and adults.
