We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic reliable individual to join the administration team to assist with the day‑to‑day office functions relating to the building control process. You will gain skills, knowledge and experience of the district council's building control work and support colleagues in the delivery of the service. We are committed to providing a customer focused service that will maximise business opportunities.

As a Business Support Officer, you will assist colleagues within the team with:

  • Answering telephone enquiries from members of staff and customers
  • Processing applications
  • Processing decision and completion notices
  • Booking inspections

The post is a temporary full‑time role working 37 hours a week, 7.24 hours a day. Working alongside two part‑time Business Support Officers and under the Business Support Manager. The intention is for the postholder to work predominately from home; however, it is a requirement to attend our offices or sites within Warwick District as required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate. Hybrid and office working is also available.
