Responsibilities:
- Coaching, development and training of the players of the 16-19yrs Football Academy.
- Recruitment of players for WCG Football Academy, ensuring the highest quality of delivery and performance in football throughout the WCG organisation.
- Coaching of the 16-19 male Football Academy squads.
- Support and develop the partnership with local Football Clubs.
- Reporting and monitoring of players' progress throughout performance and results of WCG representative Football teams.
- Ensure quality of coaching and performance throughout the organisation.
- Mentor, monitor progress and development as well as guide other coaches within football at WCG.
- Develop and assist a total development/enrichment football offer for WCG students across college.
- Develop a 14-16 centre of excellence programme, as required.
- Develop community adult football opportunities as requested.
- Build and develop a Football Club structure from young players to adult incorporating the Sports Academy model.
- Responsibility for Football Academy budgets.
- Coaching of Female Football Academy when required.
- Support and administration of football at WCG.
- Develop training programmes and plans in line with college policies and procedures.
- Attend fixtures and drive players in a WCG minibus.
- Attend college delivered 'Teaching Essentials' training.
In addition to the particular requirements and characteristics of individual roles, all people employed by WCG College are expected to actively support the achievement of the College's goals and, at all times, both internally and externally, to behave in a manner consistent with the College's mission and values.

Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of football coaching and youth development.
- Well connected and respected throughout the Game.
- Coaching experience at professional level.
- Must be over 25 years of age.
- Relevant, updated coaching certificates.
- Experienced coach at Youth Level.
- Demonstrates commitment to youth player development and the context of collegiate sport.
- Knowledge of College Football and working to Governing Body rules and regulations.
- Full clean UK Driving Licence.
- Mini Bus Licence or willingness to obtain once in post.
