We have new openings for those with a passion for delivering great customer service and front-of-house experiences! Come and join our Attractions and Events Venue team as one of our Venue Hosts at the UK’s most exciting Castle!
In this role, you will assist with the coordination of weddings and varied event bookings. You will be reporting to and supporting the Wedding and Events Coordinators, providing on-the-floor support and assisting with the day-to-day operations. As a Venue Host, you will support our seasonal offerings and shows, which could range from formal banquets in the Great Hall to fairy tale weddings, lively outdoor events, as well as team building days.
This Venue Host role offers heaps of variety to keep you interested; no two days will be the same. Responsibilities include:
- Setting up for events or wedding ceremonies
- Welcoming and escorting guests into the venue
- Supporting guests with the use of accessible lifts and the gold buggy
- Vehicle marshalling
- Covering the role of a turnstile attendant
This is a seasonal contract starting as soon as possible and going on until the 3rd January 2027 (with possible extensions thereafter), offering 5 guaranteed hours per week. Flexibility is needed as shifts will include weekends, bank holidays, and evenings. Depending on the booking, some shifts can be as long as 11 hours and could finish as late as 2am!
