What you\’ll bring to the team: We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Ice Rink Hosts to join us at Warwick Castle and help deliver unforgettable experiences on the ice this winter season. If you\’re a confident skater with a passion for providing top-notch service, this could be the perfect role for you. As an Ice Rink Host, you\’ll be the welcoming face for our guests, ensuring they have a smooth and exciting experience from the moment they arrive. You\’ll handle everything from ticket scanning to skate exchanges and ensuring safety on the rink, and you’ll help maintain the rink and equipment to our high standards. No two days are the same in this high-energy role, but every day is about creating moments of magic for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests to the ice rink with a smile and friendly greeting.
- Handling payments and scanning tickets.
- Assisting with skate exchanges and safely storing personal belongings.
- Patrolling the ice to ensure everyone\’s safety and enjoyment.
- Helping with ice maintenance and keeping the rink clean and hazard-free.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Confident skating ability (you won\’t need to be a pro, but you should be comfortable helping guests on the ice).
- Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
- Experience in a guest-facing role.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and festive holidays like Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, and New Year\\\’s Eve.
- A calm and positive attitude, even in a fast-paced environment.
