Join our team as an Admissions & Car Parks Assistant, where you'll be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in delivering an outstanding visitor experience. This customer-facing role combines admissions, ticketing, guest services, traffic management, and car park operations within a busy visitor attraction environment.
As part of our Admissions and Car Parks team, you'll provide exceptional customer service, assist guests with entry and ticket queries, scan tickets, manage queue lines, direct traffic, and ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles throughout the site. You'll help create a welcoming, safe, and memorable experience for every guest from arrival through to departure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Operating tills and processing transactions
- Managing admissions and ticket scanning
- Directing vehicles and parking coaches and cars
- Maintaining queue management systems
- Supporting guest enquiries
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
Minimum 5 contracted hours per week, with shifts usually starting from 9:30am. During our busy Halloween and Christmas events, shifts may start between 2:30pm and 5:30pm. Flexibility is essential, particularly during peak periods, with opportunities to work up to 6 shifts over Halloween and a minimum of 4 shifts per week during Christmas.
We're looking for enthusiastic individuals with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering excellent guest experiences. Candidates must be aged 16 or over, and previous customer service experience is desirable. Previous experience in retail, hospitality, leisure, tourism, visitor attractions, admissions, ticketing, or car park operations would be beneficial but is not essential.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Confident and comfortable to speak to guests in person and answer queries on the spot
- Happy to be working outside and on your feet whatever the weather!
- Previous Customer Service experience is desirable
