About the Role
As Assistant Bar Manager, you will support the Bar Manager with the day-to-day running of the bar, help supervise staff, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure the bar operates smoothly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Bar Manager with daily operations
- Supervising and motivating bar staff during shifts
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness, presentation and safety standards
- Assisting with stock control, ordering and cash handling
- Helping to train new team members where required
Requirements
- Minimum of one year's full-time bar experience
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and busy shifts
- A positive attitude, good organisation skills and the ability to work well under pressure
