Location and Employment Type: Position is permanent and located in Havant.

As Supply and Demand Manager, you will play a key role in managing the Supply Chain, Logistics and Sales and Operations planning functions to ensure effective operations planning, material procurement and efficient logistics operations; to achieve business revenue and customer on time delivery targets. You’ll work closely with the local team and wider business Operations and Sales teams, and you will report to Head of Delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the supply chain and demand planning processes, S&OP activities and set objectives to align inventory with customer needs, market uncertainties and production capacity.
  • Coordinate with sales and operations to ensure accurate demand forecasts and aligned supply plans.
  • Implement supply chain strategy, policies, guidelines and methodologies and processes for risk‑aware optimisation and improvement initiatives.
  • Direct procurement, logistics and demand planning activities.
  • Lead and mentor supply chain, logistics and demand planning teams, setting objectives, managing performance, and promoting professional development.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to resolve supply chain challenges and improve efficiency, cost, quality and safety, within the local site and wider business.
  • Drive continuous improvement and optimisation initiatives in supply chain and demand planning processes.
  • Analyse market trends, customer and supplier data to adjust supply plans accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and industry regulation related to supply chain and logistics management.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a supply chain related subject.
  • Experience: Essential experience in purchasing, logistics, and supply and demand planning within a highly regulated industry.
  • Skills: Strong skills in Sales and Demand planning, procurement, strategy development and implementation, and line management. Knowledge of ERP / MRP systems.
  • Certifications: IOSH.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel in the UK and internationally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in a supply chain related subject.
  • Experience: Experience in high precision, low volume, machining and assembly operations. Experience with the implementation of ERP / MRP systems.
  • Skills: Knowledge using SAP and Power BI.
  • Certifications: SIPs qualification, Continuous Improvement, NEBOSH and Chartered Manager.

Travel: In this role, some travel is required to meet with our customers and suppliers within the UK and around the world. We expect you to be ready to travel approximately 10%, although most meetings are held virtually.

Security Clearance: This role requires sufficient SC clearance or ability to obtain sufficient SC clearance.
