Project Planning Assistant / Expeditor

We have now a unique and exciting opportunity for a new Project Planning Assistant/Expeditor ona6 month fixed term contract for the Water and Waste Project Delivery Team, based in UK, Poole, Dorset.

As the Project Planning Assistant/Expeditor, you will be working in a cross-department function to prioritise and expedite project materials to aid in timely and on budget project completion. You will have a passion for providing excellent customer service in delivering a professional and efficient response to all customer and project needs.

What will you be doing?

As the Project Planning Assistant/Expeditor, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Act as a conduit between internal teams to expedite and prioritise material deliveries / consolidations.
• Act as a link between the project manager and the various departments involved in the project material delivery process
• Work with the logistics team to handle and coordinate orders according to working procedures, guidelines, and local requirements
• Ensure highest level of quality and response time for customer requests and queries
• Actively review and expedite materials in the project portfolio
• Liaise with PM to adjust project plans if needed
• Maintain and develop knowledge of customer specific solutions and needs
• Follow up and communicate parts deliveries information accordingly in a timely manner to customers and on-board 3rd party installation engineers

• You are confident in coordinating and prioritizing daily activities and urgent requests with relevant colleagues in order to find a satisfactory solution
• Experienced in providing exceptional internal and external customer service
• Experience in direct handling of orders and deliveries
• Advanced Office tools skills
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in the English language, both verbal and written
• A team player with a “Doer” attitude
• Project Planningrelated experience would be considered advantageous.
• Working knowledge of SAP advantageous
