Responsibilities

  • Executing daily workshop service tasks including inspections, overhauls, reconditioning, modification, testing, cleaning, and machining of 4‑stroke engine components.
  • Operating heavy lifting machinery such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Completing required training to gain competencies.
  • Producing accurate digital service reports and records using the new digital solution.
  • Liaising with the Workshop Senior Technician and other technicians to keep work scopes within the delivery schedule.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality standards (health and safety rules, ISO 9001/2015).
  • Contributing to the workshop team to meet customer requirements, including overtime when needed.
  • Carrying out proactive preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Ensuring maximum stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Vocational education in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven technical knowledge and experience with mechanical assembly procedures in maintenance, repair, and overhaul environments.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and instructions.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
  • Knowledge of repair procedures such as welding and machining.
  • Strong interest in engineering and hands‑on work.
  • Desire to continuously improve and drive positive change.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Ability to commute daily to Segensworth, Fareham.
