Responsibilities
- Operate grinding machines, milling machines, turning machines and lapping machines to produce seal assembly components and spares.
- Machine materials such as Inconel, stainless steel, carbon, and composites.
- Work within tight tolerances using a variety of measuring equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings and processes.
- Communicate with operations teams to proactively meet OTIF targets.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Execute all duties safely following health & safety procedures.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a tool room environment.
- Experience with grinding machines.
- Experience assembling and fitting components.
- Five years’ experience in an engineering environment.
- Understanding of health & safety procedures.
- Mechanical/assembly aptitude.
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Effective communication within a small team.
- Ideally at least college level education or solid experience in a manufacturing industry.
