We’re excited to introduce this brand-new role as part of the continued growth of our fast-paced marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at an exciting time and play a key role in shaping and supporting future marketing activity. The Acquisition Lead is responsible for driving new customer growth across all paid channels for Warrior. This is a performance-first role that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution — managing a mix of in-house campaign activity and external agency/freelancer relationships to deliver efficient, scalable customer acquisition. With DTC as the primary focus (approximately 70%) and Amazon accounting for the remaining 30%, this person will be deeply commercial, data-driven, and motivated by hitting and exceeding performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the paid acquisition strategy across all channels: Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok Ads, Google (Search, Shopping & Display), Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP), and Affiliate marketing.
- Manage day-to-day campaign performance across DTC (primary focus, ~70%) and Amazon (~30%), ensuring spend is allocated effectively against acquisition targets.
- Brief, manage, and hold accountable any agencies or freelancers running channels on Warrior's behalf — acting as the internal performance authority and decision-maker.
- Build, test, and optimise campaigns hands-on where required, particularly for emerging channels or when agency performance needs to be challenged.
Performance & Budget Management
- Manage individual channel budgets within the overall paid media pot agreed with the Head of Marketing, making data-led decisions on where to shift spend.
- Own key acquisition KPIs including CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), CPA, CTR, and new customer volume — tracking performance weekly and reporting to the Head of Marketing.
- Identify inefficiencies in spend and proactively recommend reallocation to maximise return.
- Produce regular performance reports that clearly communicate what is working, what isn't, and what the next action is.
Creative & Messaging
- Work closely with the Creative Strategist and content team to brief performance creative — ensuring ad formats, hooks, and messaging are optimised for each platform and audience.
- Run structured A/B tests on creative, copy, audiences, and landing pages, feeding learnings back into the wider marketing team.
- Understand the TikTok flywheel and how organic content feeds paid performance — working with the team to leverage trending content in paid campaigns.
Amazon
- Manage Warrior's Amazon advertising strategy, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and any DSP activity, ensuring listings are optimised for both visibility and conversion.
- Use Amazon data (search term reports, ACOS, share of voice) to inform broader acquisition and keyword strategy.
- Work with the wider team to ensure product listings, imagery, and A+ content are aligned with paid activity.
Affiliate Marketing
- Manage and grow Warrior's affiliate programme — recruiting new partners, managing relationships, setting commission structures, and tracking performance.
- Identify high-value affiliate and partnership opportunities that align with the Warrior brand and creatine category positioning.
Insight & Reporting
- Stay ahead of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging paid channels — bringing relevant recommendations to the team.
- Use analytics tools (Tripple Whale, platform dashboards, attribution tools) to build a clear picture of the full acquisition funnel and identify opportunities to improve conversion.
- Feed acquisition data and audience insights into the wider marketing team to inform content strategy, product launches, and campaign planning.
2–4 years of hands‑on paid media experience, ideally in a DTC or e-commerce environment. Proven track record of managing performance campaigns across Meta and Google, with demonstrable ROAS or CAC improvements. Experience with TikTok Ads Manager is a strong advantage — understanding of the platform's unique creative requirements and auction dynamics. Working knowledge of Amazon Advertising (Seller Central / Vendor Central) and how it fits within a broader acquisition mix. Experience managing affiliate programmes or working with affiliate networks. Comfortable working with agencies and freelancers — able to set clear briefs, challenge performance, and hold partners accountable. Strong analytical skills — able to turn platform data into clear commercial recommendations without needing hand‑holding. Familiarity with attribution modelling and the limitations of last-click — with an understanding of how to think about incrementality. Experience in FMCG, sports nutrition, health & wellness, or challenger consumer brands is a strong advantage. A growth mindset — proactive about testing, learning, and iterating quickly rather than waiting for a perfect plan.
