Rate of pay: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 6 hours per week (Saturdays, 12:00pm to 6:00pm or 1.00pm-7.00pm.)
The client is looking for a caring, reliable and friendly Personal Assistant to support a young adult with Down Syndrome. This is a rewarding opportunity to support someone to access their local community, enjoy social activities, and develop their independence, while providing respite for a family member.
About the Role
The role involves accompanying and supporting a young adult to take part in activities they enjoy, including:
- Bowling
- Swimming
- Cinema trips
- Going out for food or a drink
The young gentleman is friendly, sociable and enjoys getting out and about in the community. He will cover the cost of their own activities and refreshments.

- Kind, patient and reliable
- Enjoys supporting people to participate in social activities
- Able to build a positive and supportive relationship
- Driver preferred but not essential, as the location has good public transport links and many activities are accessible on foot
