Location: Latchford, Warrington Rate of pay: Β£13.45 per hour Hours: 6 hours per week (Saturdays, 12:00pm to 6:00pm or 1.00pm-7.00pm.)

The client is looking for a caring, reliable and friendly Personal Assistant to support a young adult with Down Syndrome.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support someone to access their local community, enjoy social activities, and develop their independence, while providing respite for a family member.

About the Role

The role involves accompanying and supporting a young adult to take part in activities they enjoy, including:

  • Bowling
  • Swimming
  • Cinema trips
  • Going out for food or a drink

The young gentleman is friendly, sociable and enjoys getting out and about in the community. He will cover the cost of their own activities and refreshments.

What we're looking for:

  • Kind, patient and reliable
  • Enjoys supporting people to participate in social activities
  • Able to build a positive and supportive relationship
  • Driver preferred but not essential, as the location has good public transport links and many activities are accessible on foot

  • A probationary period will apply
