Main Duties
- Meal Preparation: Prepare meals that adhere to the client’s very restricted diet. Adapt recipes and ingredients as necessary. Ensure proper nutrition and hydration in accordance with dietary restrictions and medical needs.
- Housekeeping: Assist in keeping bedroom and shower tidy and clean. Light housekeeping tasks such as making bed, organising personal items, maintaining a clutter‑free space, and assisting with laundry.
- Companionship: Demonstrate patience and respect so the client feels valued and understood.
- Personal Care: Assist with washing if required. Prepare a bath or shower as needed, and provide occasional support with bathing. Occasional support with medical supplies; willingness to learn about medical device use. Empty and clean a commode as required.
- Outings: Support the client during outings as needed.
