Key Responsibilities

  • Support the child in taking part in community-based activities such as clubs, museum visits, sports, or nature outings
  • Anticipate and manage sensory needs or overstimulation during outings
  • Foster independence by encouraging choice, autonomy, and self-confidence in social settings
  • Prepare for outings by collaborating on plans, practicing transitions, and building familiarity with environments
  • Support to learn independent living skills

Note: All needs will vary daily, and it is important that the Personal Assistant is flexible and agrees to undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested.
