Hours of Work: 22 hours per week
Location: Great Sankey area, Warrington, Cheshire
Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour
Working Schedule:
- Monday to Sunday (Evenings): 8:00pm – 10:00pm (2 hours per evening)
- Saturday: Morning: 10:00am – 12:00pm (2 hours); Afternoon: 3:00pm – 5:00pm (2 hours)
- Sunday: Morning: 10:00am – 12:00pm (2 hours); Afternoon: 3:00pm – 5:00pm (2 hours)
Job Description: A female Personal Assistant is required to provide personal and practical support to enable a lady to live an independent personal and social life in her own home and within the community. Applicants must have experience working with individuals who have Autism and complex mental health needs. A calm, friendly, and reliable personality is essential. Good timekeeping and punctuality are very important. Applicants must also be comfortable around large dogs, as the lady has a Labrador.
Main Duties:
- Supporting access to the upstairs bathroom
- Assisting with getting up in the morning and going to bed in the evening
- Assisting at mealtimes, including meal preparation and support with safe eating
- Feeding and letting the dog out
- Providing emotional support
A probationary period will apply to the successful applicant. The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (free).
