FEMALE Personal Assistantis required to provide personal and practical assistance, to enable a disabled lady to live an independent and social life, and support her in her own home and in the community.
A non-smoker is essential for this role.
MAIN DUTIES
- Assistance with personal care tasks (being present whilst the lady completes personal care tasks herself, supporting her to carry bowl of water, also seeing her whilst she is undressed).
- Assistance with shopping tasks
- Assistance with laundry, washing clothes and hanging on the line
- Supporting the lady to attend medical appointments as necessary (Tuesday afternoons)
- Escorting to, and supporting the lady during social and leisure activities
CAR OWNER/DRIVER ESSENTIAL. As the successful applicant would be required to use their own vehicle as part of their employment, they must ensure that their insurance provider covers them for business purposes.
Hours of work: 6 HOURS PER WEEK, to be worked flexibly between Monday – Saturday. The exact working hours would be discussed at interview stage, with the prospective employer.
Rate of pay: £12.60 PER HOUR

The successful applicant would be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
