FEMALE Personal Assistant

Hours of Work
4 hours per week, to be worked flexibly. The exact working hours will be discussed at the interview stage with the prospective employer.

Rate of Pay
£12.60 per hour
Role Overview
A female Personal Care Assistant is required to provide personal and practical support to enable a disabled lady to live independently and socially, both at home and in the community.
Main Duties Include
- Support with personal care tasks (may include assistance with bathing, but primarily being present while the lady showers)
- Support with meal preparation and cooking
- Assistance with household tasks (laundry, cleaning, changing bedding, etc.)
- Support during social and leisure activities
Requirements
- Car driver essential – The lady has a Motability vehicle which she drives herself but may occasionally require the assistant to drive.
- Applicants must be aged 21 or over, due to insurance requirements under the Motability scheme.
Additional Information
- A probationary period will apply.
- The successful applicant will be required to complete (free of charge) an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
