About the Role
A disabled university student is seeking a reliable and punctual Personal Assistant/Driver to provide transport support during university term time.
The role involves driving the employer’s adapted vehicle from Lymm to Navigation Road Tram Stop in Altrinc enabling access to university.
Morning journeys will take place between 9:00am and 11:00am, Monday to Friday.
The round trip typically takes between 40 and 60 minutes, and payment will be made for a full hour per journey.
In addition to the morning journeys, some afternoon collections from Navigation Road Tram Stop will also be required.
Exact timings for afternoon journeys will be confirmed once university timetables are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive an adapted vehicle between Lymm and Navigation Road Tram Stop, Altrincham.
- Provide reliable and punctual transport support.
- Assist with safe travel arrangements as required.
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach at all times.
- Adapted vehicle provided.
- Term-time employment only (approximately September to December and February to June).
- Regular morning journeys, Monday to Friday.
- Additional afternoon collections on selected days.
About You
The successful applicant will
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
- Be confident driving a larger adapted vehicle.
- Be reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Live within reasonable travelling distance of Lymm or the surrounding area.
- Have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
