The role

The Little Lot Nursery is a popular nursery situated within Stockton Heath Primary School.

We have strong links with our local community and are looking for an enthusiastic and caring person to join our team, as soon as possible.

Hours / working pattern

Monday to Friday 07:30 – 09:00 and 15:00 – 18:00. Please note this is a term-time position, and holidays/days off will not be allowed during term-time.

What we are looking for:

Duties will include acting as a role model for the children and promoting the nursery’s values. You will need to encourage the children to develop their personal and social skills through modelled play and promote excellent behaviour. Interaction with the children and using your initiative to organise activities will be required. You may also be required to prepare and serve breakfast/snacks. The successful candidate will adhere to all nursery policies, especially those relating to behaviour, safeguarding, health and safety, equal opportunities and confidentiality.

You will be joining a friendly staff team. Our most recent OFSTED inspection judged us as good in all areas and reported that our children have a great start to their learning at the nursery. They form close relationships with the staff and their peers, and our staff create a positive and welcoming environment where children feel settled and secure. We want you to be part of this. Where necessary, we will provide training which may be on-site, at another location or online.
