The role at Stocky’s Breakfast and After School Club at Stockton Heath Primary School is to support our children before and after the school day. Our successful Wraparound Care provision ‘Stocky’s’ is looking for a new superhero who enjoys working with children in a fun and creative environment.
Who are you?
- You will know your Peppa Pig from your Disney Princesses, be good at remembering lots of children’s names, and be skilled at serving up sandwiches.
- Ideally, you will also have:
- A full and relevant qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare or Playworker
- Experience working with or volunteering with children
- The ability to laugh at yourself when you miss-kick a deciding goal at the penalty shoot-out in front of 20 children aged between 4 and 11
- Knowledge of children’s songs and actions
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Patience and the ability to keep your cool during busy times
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with children
- Availability during term-time, Monday to Friday
As this is a Team Leader role, we would also like you to have:
- Experience managing a team
- Confidence in having conversations with parents and staff

We currently have a permanent vacancy for a Team Leader, ideally looking for someone to work in both our Breakfast Club and After School Club provision:
- Breakfast and After School Club Team Leader (Permanent) - Working 25 hours per week
- Breakfast Club: 7:15 am – 8:45 am
- After School Club: 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm
- Grade 5 SCP 8-14 Annual Salary: £15,190 – 16,728
However, we are happy to consider a job share or flexible hours.
- After School Club Team Leader (Permanent) - Working 17 hours per week
- After School Club: 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm
- Grade 5 SCP 8-14 Annual Salary: £10,633 – £11,709
