An exciting opportunity has arisen for social workers to join our Family Help and Protection Service on a fixed term 12 month contract. We have vacancies for full time social workers to work as part of our Family Help and Protection Team and our Duty Team on a temporary basis with the possibility of extending this to a permanent contract in the future if the opportunity arises.
As part of a Pathfinder Local Authority, you would be part of a team, working in a new and innovative way to support children and families in need of help and protection.
The role involves seeking social workers who have excellent verbal and written communication skills, are able to think creatively to problem solve, have robust assessment skills, and work well as part of a multi-agency group of professionals. The successful candidates will be able to assess the needs of a family and provide timely and focused intervention.
What's needed?
The successful applicants will hold a valid social work qualification with relevant experience in children's social work practice and be able to provide a clear enhanced DBS check.
