We have an exciting opportunity for a SEND/Safeguarding Admin Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside a wider team of SEND and Safeguarding team whilst being based in the main school office. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, hardworking, flexible and enjoy working in a busy school environment.
Responsibilities
- Organise Annual Reviews, including liaising with staff to gather information
- Update Pupil Passports as required by the SENDCo.
- Prepare papers for the SENDCo as required.
- Ensure statutory documentation is fulfilled and that referrals are sent
- Oversee the medical side of safeguarding compliance.
- Assist with care plans for medical conditions
- Ensure Arbor and internal logs are completed for all student's medical conditions/needs
- Hold all prescribed medication for students, following school processes.
- Liaise with staff to gather information for Personal Education Plans (PEPs).
- Complete safeguarding risk assessments as needed under instruction from the DSL.
