Overview
You join Warrington EPS to support children and young people through universal, targeted and specialist work. You collaborate with schools, families and partners to deliver statutory advice and preventative, systemic support. You will operate within a locality patch model, applying a broad range of psychological skills to improve inclusion and wellbeing. This role offers a hybrid, supportive team environment with opportunities to influence local practice and participate in CPD and induction.

Responsibilities
- Provide EP Advice to inform EHC Needs Assessments for a patch of schools
- Deliver universal, targeted and specialist level work, including preventative programs (ELSA, MeLSA, EBSA)
- Engage in systemic work with Local Authority, schools, families and service partners
- Conduct case work for individual children when appropriate
- Participate in statutory processes and provide consultation in meetings with schools/settings and families
- Contribute to preventative approaches and ongoing inclusion and wellbeing initiatives
- Collaborate with partners in Virtual School, Early Help, Social Care, Attendance, specialist teachers, and health/community services
- Use child development knowledge to inform practice and outcomes
- Support and supervise within the team and participate in regular team meetings
Key requirements
- Qualified Educational Psychologist (experience varies; new entrants welcome)
- Ability to apply psychology creatively to maximise impact
- Committed, hardworking, and able to work independently and within a team
- Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
