St Gregory's Catholic High School is seeking to appoint a committed, organised and highly motivated Deputy SENDCo to support the leadership and coordination of SEND provision across our high school. This is a non‑teaching support staff role that will work closely with the SENDCo, another Deputy SENDCo, pastoral leaders, teaching staff, families and external agencies to ensure that pupils with additional needs receive high‑quality support and achieve their full potential.

Qualifications

  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND in a secondary school setting
  • Understanding of EHCP processes, access arrangements and graduated SEND support
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families and outside agencies
  • Professional and confidential handling of sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate annual reviews and SEND meetings
  • Maintain accurate SEND records and pupil passports
