The school is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic Admin Officer who is able to support in a busy school office and is willing to take part in the life of the school. School office experience is an essential requirement. This will mean working alongside another member of the team as a job share.
The successful candidate will work with other staff to primarily support the administration needs of the school including receiving visitors, deliveries, answering telephones, dealing with general enquiries and parental communications, administering minor first aid, in addition to other admin/clerical duties such as filing, word processing, data management and the smooth operation of the School Website. Experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel are essential.
The post also includes some pastoral care duties, maintaining resources and photocopying. Experience of working with SIMs is desirable. The candidate will be required to use school based ICT packages (ie, SIMs, PING and Parent Pay) and training will be provided as appropriate.
The successful candidate needs to be flexible, able to work as part of a team, is committed to the school’s high standards, have a pleasant and efficient manner and a sense of humour.
